Finished reading Bloody Jack by L.A Meyer. The ending of this book really broke my heart! But having said that, I'm waiting to get my hands on the next one.

At the moment I'm reading 2 books Witchling by Yasmin Galehorn & Poison Study by Maria V Snyder. I'm enjoying both books so far. They are both alluring in their own ways.

Jaguar Nights and Alpha Wolf are having a vacation on my Kindle. I'm reading about 10 pgs from each story so I don't rush through and buy the next book off Amazon (I've noticed my kindle is burning a hole in my pocket).

I'm quarter of the way through Witchling and Poison Study and I'm loving both the female characters. None of em' are whiny and BOTH of em' are strong women.

Updates as soon as I'm done. =O)

Finished reading Poison Study by Maria V Snyder. I'll be honest, the first few pages did NOT look promising but then! BANG!! It got so SO interesting. I admit what kept me hooked was the cute and adorable romance between Yelena and you-know-who!!. In this story Yelena learns to trust again and develops deep and meaningful relationships with the people around her and she refuses to be defeated. That is what I love about her character!. She is also very forgiving and kind.

I've got Magic Study with me at the moment but I've to complete reading Beast Of Desire by Lisa Renee Jones, first!.

Also, started on Death Masks by Jim Butcher!. It's hilarious to see how much Harry messes up and lands in more trouble than he already is in. I love seeing how he gets out of it with humor and self affirmation! lolz =OD

I've just read about 20 pages so can't say much about how the book is BUT what I can say in the first half an hour of reading Harry has managed to make new 'killer' friends!!! =OD. Our Harry lives on adventure and sarcastic humor! =OD

Yay!! I finished reading Beast Of Desire by Lisa Renee Jones!. Yummy! Loved the book, loved the plot! loved the men!! =OD. In this book you'll find metaphorical beasts, white knights, gorgeous tortured men, beautiful slightly emotionally unstable yet strong women, the baddies, ofcourse! ;-) and one helluva showdown!!!. I'm so happy that this is a series!! so Im waiting to get to the next one.

Next up on my list is Blood Rites by Jim Butcher and I'm almost done with Witchling by Yasmine Galehorn!, going to start on Magic Study by Maria V Snyder the day after.!!! =OD

I sat reading until the Witching hour last night! and completed 'Witchling' by Galehorn. This book was certainly interesting although there was so much going on I had to keep going back to see what I'd missed. My fav characters in this book are Chase (OIA detective & a good hearted lech =OD...oh yes...they DO exist!, apparently..lol), Delilah (middle sister who freaks out and turns in to a cat whenever stressed & also an eternal optimist) and Smoky the dragon( in a gawjus Dragon man's body! =OD).

The characters were all entertaining but like I said too much going on and hence took me longer to read but still hasn't put me off ordering the next book 'Changeling' from the library.

NOTE:- It is mostly a paranormal mystery but there are a couple of steamy scenes in there.

    A definite 4 stars out of 5. =O)

I'm more than halfway through Blood Rites by Jim Butcher and I'm about to start on Magic Study by Maria V Snyder and I'll be reading Emma by Jane Austen on side. =OD

I read Down and Dirty by Sandra Hill. Yum!! fantastic book!. The name of the book explains the theme of the story! ;-). The story itself was really endearing!. I loved Britta's accent and her Norse vocab! =OD. It kept me entertained throughout the book and it took me about 4 hours from start to finish. Definitely a book I'd recommend to you all.

4.5 out of 5 stars!. Full of humor!

Now I'm nearly quarter of the way through Graceling and I already dislike some of the characters!, esp Randa!. I'm also slowly but surely working my way through Emma by Jane Austen and I have to be careful that I don't miss a line (the print is that small.) I find myself unable to read more than 3 pages at a time but I won't give up. I'm a err..not-giver-upper =OD

Okay so I finished Graceling by Cashore! and I'm surprised that I actually liked it quite a lot. I especially love Raffin & Po. Po's humor is devilishly mischievous and Raffin is Wise!. It was nice to see Katsa learning more about herself and her more about her Grace. I also liked Bitterblue! I was a bit disappointed how Leck was taken out I expected more...well....I expected it to be more climatic! after how powerful he is said to be. But oh well! I'd love to find out more about Po's family. It was a bit sad to find out that PO went *blah* after his encounter with Leck but I'm still confused as to how he went *blabbity yak* from simply just an encounter.

Does any one know about the blabbity yak bit? =OD if you do could ya please send me a note coz i'm scratching my head here! =OD

Reading Emma by Austen at the moment just to finish my feb mini challenge! =O)

I'm waiting anxiously for tomorrow so I can go pick up my next Harry Dresden book from the library. I've got 18 books waiting for me. It's going to take me 2.5 weeks to finish reading all of em'. =OD

just finished reading Wolf Tales II by Kate Douglas! and ouch!! was it steamy!!. You have wolves, chanku, multiple sex partners and ofcourse an obstacle that the main couple must face before they can be truly mated. The plot wasn't really good but the steamy scenes were very VERY graphic that more than compensated for the story line! not that I didn't enjoy it but I wouldn't be able to read all the books in this series one after the other. I need some time to recover..lol! I read Wolf Tales I last month and Wolf Tales II this month so the next book in the series I'll read in March.

Plot isn't brilliant but then it pales in to comparison with the *other* stuff ;-)

Started on Changeling! and Delilah is so cute and adorable as a tabby cat! =OD

Finished with Changeling by Yasmine Galenorn. It was a wonderful read. I loved Delilah from the first book, Witchling and thought she was a riot! I'm glad I wasn't disappointed with this book and I have a feeling that all 3 sisters are going to have 3 lovers each. People who've read book 1 and book 2 will probably understand what I'm talking about. I also liked that although D was meek and kitty like she, in this second book is as tough as nails and this kitten has claws people! =OD. Loved Lord Autumn's character.

Okay so now I'm on a buffy the vampire slayer book called Afterimage and finally on 'Tainted' by Julie Kenner!. I'm quarter of the way through and I'm loving Deacon's character! yum!.

Finished reading Tainted by Julie Kenner!! ONE word! delicious!. QUESTION: Why do we women ALWAYS fall for the bad guy!. It's ridiculous and defies reason..lol but that is what happens here. The first part was a little sad but Lily Carlyle rocks!!. In this book there are angels & demons, heaven & hell and NINE gates of hell that always HAVE to remain sealed but one of them has opened. It's Lily's job to seal it shut and for it to remain that way but who can she trust and who can't she trust, that bit she finds out the hard way. This book was simply UNputdownable for me!. I read it in 3.5 hours straight.

Oh and Deacon is soooooooooo YUM!!! =OD

Now I'm on Shadowlight by Lynn Viehl.

Finished Shadowlight by Lynn Viehl. It was an excellent read. Loved Gaven Matthias' character. I wasn't too keen on Jessa's character. At times I just wanted to shake the living daylights out of her!! I mean c'mon woman!! how much MORE proof do you need that he is telling you the absolute truth!. All in all I really liked the plot, the theme and the way it was written.

Next, I'm reading My Soul to Take by Rachel Vincent! =OD

Completed My Soul To Take by Rachel Vincent. It was both a well thought and well written book. There were so many twists and turns in this book, I had to rush to keep up. I was shocked that Kaylee was a *blah* but I should have known I mean the fact that she wanted to scream her lungs out. But I really felt sad for Kaylee and I so dislike Aunt Val! & Sophie. Such meanies! The last bit in the story was the scariest. Nash was a hunk and with Tod's character I felt so much empathy for him. I mean it's not easy being alone. But oh well!! you have to read it to know more!.

Now I shall start on Dead Beat by Jim Butcher!!. Yes, people!! Butcher is Back!!. I'm on book 7 at the moment and I'll put up reviews once I'm done.

    Happy Reading!! =OD

Finished The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson. It was totally different from the movie. It was sad to see Eleanor finally......!!. Good read IF you haven't watched the movie.

I'm about to complete the 2nd Stephanie Plum novel. And, I've started on Fire Study by Maria V. Snyder!. 85pgs in and I'm loving the adventures and the near death experiences!. =OD. Putting up Plum's review sooon! =O)

Finished reading Two For The Dough by Janet Evanovich. I loved the plot, the way things unfolded and most of all i LOVED the undertaker humor..lol that was soooo hilarious! This book is such a riot and definitely needs to be read!. I'm taking a break from the Plum series and finishing books from other series.

I'm on the last Yelena Zaltana books by Maria V Snyder. Fire Study is proving to be very interesting. I really enjoy the adventures that Yelena goes through, I don't like her brother, Leif though. It's sad that this is the last book of the Study series. I'm sad that I wont be reading about Valek anymore. I loved the romance in all 3 books!.

I've also started on Scott Westerfield's Uglies book 1. I'm just 2 pages in and I'm already scratching my head! House that can talk?...bridges that can talk? yeech! But anyway I've been told it's a pretty good read and I've not read anything by Scott Westerfield so it'll be a good experience for me to see how this author works. =O)

Finished reading Uglies by Scott Westerfield. I liked the book berry berry much =OD. I loved the drama within it! and no it isn't a paranormal romance. It's more of a SCI FI story. Alternate worlds, weird and misleading experiments etc...but of course there is some romance thrown in for good measure. I'm not going to rush off to get the next book for sure but once I've read the more pressing books on my TBR I'll go get the next one.

I'm about to finish Fire Study by Maria V. Snyder and I've got a copy of the first book of the Glass series; the book's called Storm Glass. I've also just started on Blood Promise by Richelle Mead, it would kill me if Rose killed Dimitri....I don't know what's going to happen!. But there is a new character introduced in this story. Good to see Lissa & Christian still there.

I'll put up the review of Fire Study once I'm done. ;-)

Finished Fire Study by Maria V. Snyder - A real pity that this is the end of the series. I really loved it!. I wish the relationship between Yelena and Leif were a bit different but no matter!! It was still awesome the way it ended. I did kind of feel really broken up about Moon Man. I'm still confused about Commander Ambrose's secret!!. That is so weird!. But I loved Valek! and I obviously love HAPPY ENDINGS!! and this one was!. That bat was was absolutely adorable!! =OD and so was Kiki! I also just realized Storm Glass is about Opal's story just as Poison Study was about Yelena's! so hopefully I'll still come across Yelena as one of the side characters...at least! =O)

I'm about to start on Make Her Pay By Roxanne St Claire and I'm quarter of the way through Blood Promise by Richelle Mead. I can't wait to meet Dimitri again, I wonder what he'll be like or whether he'll remember Rose!. It would be a tragedy if he didn't. :-(
