what is your favorite paranormal romance?

I'm looking for some new books. Over the last year The Dream Thief by Shana Abe has been one of my favorites. I just finished Blue Aspen by Tenaya Jayne and I loved it! Anyone who likes PNR with a twist should read it. Any suggestions for me? I don't like endless series' and I'm not huge on vampires, just the really good ones.

I have so many favorites but most of them are endless series. Sandra Hill has a great series out dealing with time travel. They can be read as stand alone. Oh my gosh I hope Sandra doesn't hear me say that ;^D Not sure what the series is called, I call them the Viking series.

Susan Sizemore has the Prime series, Vampires and Lora Leigh with the Breeds.

If you're looking for something other than vamps, try:

The Carpathian series by Christine Feehan
The Nightwalkers series by Jacquelyn Frank
Lords of the Underworld series by Gena Showalter
    Demonica series by Larissa Ione
Meredith Gentry series by Laurell K Hamilton
Fever series by Karen Marie Moning
Highlander series by Karen Marie Moning

(those are the ones that popped off the top of my head).

Great paranormal, no vamps. Other than those listed by RomansGirl:

Marjorie Liu's Dirk and Steele series
    Nalini Singh's Psy/Changeling series
Robin D. Owens has two series I like, the HEART series and a fantasy romance series THE SUMMONING. They both take place on other worlds.
Melissa Mayhue writes some cute historical time-travel highlanders. It's light on paranormal, but they are fun reads.
Someone already mentioned Lora Leigh writes some really smoking hot shape-shifters called The Breeds.
Lori handeland wrote some werewolf stories. I can't remember the name of them right now. Sorry.

    All vampire free. :)

    Nice one shots:

A Babe in Ghostland - Lisa Cach
Hex and the Single Girl - Valerie Frankel
Tracy Fobes has some good paranormal non-vamp one shot books
Like A Charm - Candace Havens
Sara MacKenzie has a good time travel/ghost series and each of the three books don't have characters/plots/places that overlap.
Witch in the House - Jenna McKnight
The Ravencliff Bride - Dawn Thompson
