  I felt sorry for Loren! I know he was working with Neferet and I think he genuinely had feelings for Zoey and Neferet suspected it too. If he didn't care about Loren, then why did he risk going over the wall and get himself killed when he thought Zoey was in danger? Chosen was one of my favourite books in the series.

  In Betrayed she had a nightmare where Neferet was herding up a buncha' sheep (in football uniforms, like the kids who kept dying) and suddenly turned on one and started sucking its blood. Then Neferet turned into Loren!

  Very disturbing indeed. No, but seriously, I can stand reading about sex. All it does is add a bit of controversy and spice to the story. But then I never thought Neferet could/would let down that grandly appearance and be so....er...excited and....er...intimate with a member of her own STAFF.

  I don't think he loved Neferet - I think she was using him and he was captivated by her. I don't think she is capable of loving anyone - its all about power and control for her. I think for Loren, Zoey was everything he wanted Neferet to be.

Chosen was my favorite of the series. So much relationship issues going on. I liked Lauren at first but I knew something was up with him. Too good to be true. This is the turning point for Zoey and Erik. This brings out Erik's bad side. Of all the series so far I feel that is one is the best written and gets the stoy across the best.

  I swear we think alike cos this was one of my favourite books in the series. I did have a sense that Loren was not all he seemed but I don't think he was indifferent to Zoey. I think despite being in league with Neferet, he did have feelings for Zoey and thats why he went over the wall and risked his life when he thought Zoey was in danger. Erik is abit too boring for me and the fact that Zoey can't make her mind up shows there is summat lacking in their relationship. I think I probably feel most sorry for Heath.

  yah u should deff. read it b/c it is actually good untill u get to the middle or maybe even the end but it is worth it b/c idk...they are funny and u can deff. see urself in them.

  they r extremely good books. i read the whole series in a week! anyways, the first chapter in marked is inappropriate but the rest isnt that bad. the best books in the series is the last to and the 6th one is coming out in october. u better get reading. :)

well at least a lot of Zo's stress went away at the end of the story...made me feel better lol

I dunno whether it wa smy favourite or not, but I love me a good sex scene and plenty of drama. That was startling....I liked Loren at first because he sounded so amazing, and I actually envied Zoey with him, but then again, I never thought he'd be such a womanizer. He was so desperate with Neferet too "Ooooh you know you're the one I love!" and he played Zo, so that's just shit.
But the whole isolation idea and loneliness and Erik walking upon her slut-scene, I must say, I enjoyed it. Not that I'm a total perv or kink, it's just that a good, teenage drama is what I wanted and is what I got ^.^

I think Chosen was the best. I really hated the crap with the sex scene and the hating and cheatin. I reeeeeeally think Erik was being a meany...he couldn't even believe Zoey. I never really trusted Loren...he's too old, LOL. I really hate that the author uses so many cusses. Some are really unnessesary (spelling?)
