I laughed, thinking of other ways to torture my stepmonster when Jenele came over. "She only turns the water on when her hiar is already shampooed. Besdies that, we could play with my dog. Oh wait, you guys didn't know that. I have a dog named Duke. He's a German Shepherd that is super huge and crazy. My stepmonster hates him, and that's another reason why I love him."

  my grandparents are in town, so of course we had to go to the truman library 2day. what the perfect way to start out my summer vacation. NOT!!!!!! i was bored out of my frikkin butt! the only remotely cool thing was this old athenian greek battle helmet from 6th century bc from the persian war. it HARDLY pertained to the president, but it was cool. but we were in kansas city missouri, so thats why i said that.

"yeah, but you're not saying i have to go to school, do you? the last time i was in a school was in 1st grade and i was 6!" it was true. i found out i was a halfblood really early on, right after my mom died. i was taken to camp by a satyr and had stayed there ever since, only leaving for shopping trips and such, all whcih had only lasted less than a day.

It seemed to radiate with a warm glowing heat. I opened my hands to set it free, but instead it only flapped its wings a couple times and came to rest on Miki's shoulder.

never mind, I got the food in the plastic bag right next to me. I said as i pointed to the plastic bag on the grass right next to me. "now, be quiet!"
I summoned a couple of gravediggers and they started digging. About 5 minutes later, they were done. I whisked them away and dumped all the food and drinks in the hole. Then I started the Ceremony. then again, 3 minutes later, all the Spirits came and started drinking. I drew my sword and called,"one at a time. Anyways, Get Lee Fletcher up here." The first ghost happened to be Lee Fletcher so I shoved Miki in front. " go talk to him. all right?"

Oh, what the heck. If I was gonna go to the beach I had to go swimming! I had a bathing suit on under my shorts and tanktop. I ran into the water, not caring to take my regular clothes off.

"Lee..." I said, my eyes already filling with tears. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. Please forgive me."
He smiled at me. "You better go to the pavilion, or Chiron's going to be mad at you again." he smiled, finally talking.
"And I forgive you. I know you didn't mean it."
I smiled and he tried to touch my hair, but his hand faded from my body heat, but he did it anyway.
"Keep playing those awsome pranks for me, will you Ela?" he asked, using the nickname that only he used for me.
"Sure thing Fletch." I responded, using mine for him.
"I'll miss you." he said, then smiled at me and vanished. Instead of going to the pavilion right then, I went to the Lake and stared at the water.
"Hey, Ela?" I whipped around and saw Lee.
"I didn't leave yet. Do you have a boyfriend?" he asked.
"Yeah, Connor Stoll is my boyfriend." I smiled.
Lee cursed in Ancient Greek, than smiled at me. "Bye Ela."
"Bye Fletch." I smiled.
And just like that, he was gone.

my sisterts in kansas city guest playing for her best friends soccer team. they made it to the finals and LOST. it's pretty funny.
we lost on saturday to this team full of harpies. this one girl ran into my face when i was goalie, farted, and wouldnt move so i couldnt see anything until they scored.
this other girl pushed shelby, our left wing down and said to someone on her team "my mom said that if i make someone cry, she'll buy me a cell phone!"
and this other girl tripped katie. the ref finally called it (i swear, it was like the first thing he called and it was almost the end of the game!!!) and we got a free kick, but katie threw the ball at the other girl

I smiled "Hey Josh, what's up?"
"Meet me at the beach in 5 minuites"

Josh put his arm around my waist as we walked along the shore.
He stared into the sunset and stopped
"Lizzie, I have a question.." he said
"Bring it!"
"Were you kissing that boy back?" He started walking again
I stopped, stunned "Josh...you know I would never-"
"Yeah...okay whatever" he didn't seem convinced
"Josh, I swear I didn't, I didn't even know him he just-"
"Lizzie..."
My eyebrows raised in sorrow and anxiety
"I just don't know what to think..." he said
I grabbed his arm
"Do you really think so low of me??? Josh, I love you! I couldn't be happier! I would never-"
"I gotta go" he cut in and left me standing alone on the shore, crying

i walked up the beach, and squished my toes in the sand. i picked up a stick, drew a heart, and wrote G.B. + B.S. in it. i jumped a foot in the air when someone laughed right by my ear.
'Hmmmmm... who is this B.S.? i must say, i am jealous.' Brian said behind me. he wrapped his arms around my waist, kissing my cheek. despite his usual, playful sarcasm, he seemed hesitant, like he was debating something within himself. he shakes his head, and i guess the negative side of the internal argument won.
'you ok?' i ask.
'yeah.' he smiles. i blow it off. he'll tell me when hes ready.
'you forgot.' i accuse him.
he frowns. 'forgot what?'
'its my birthday today. i am eighteen years old.' i pull away.
'i didnt forget, i just didnt know what you where referring to.' he pulled out a box from his coat pocket. i was a small, velvet, black box with a bow on it. earrings! he gets on the ground, and opens the box.
'Gwen Bridges, will you marry me?' he asks.
i stand there, gaping at him. i say something really intelligent like 'uhhhhhhh....?'
he looks down. 'i.....i understand.' his eyes are wet. he stands up, and turns to walk away.
'wait!' i grab his arm. 'i.... i love you. but..... right now? i mean, were so young. the war is coming, and....'
'will you at least think about it? i mean...' he stutters.
'of course! i will think about. im just shocked, sorry. you know i dont like surprises.'
he smiles, but his eyes were a little hurt. he gets the ring and puts it on silver chain, then he puts it around my neck. he walks away.
i sit down and start crying.

i showed her the ring on the chain around my neck. the ring is a white gold band with a big sapphire in the middle, and little diamonds around it. white gold makes kind of a web around the little diamonds. it is very classy, and more beautiful then i ever imagined a ring being.

i watched gwen talk to josh about liz underwater. i was in my favorite hiding place (im not telling WHERE it is, only that its underwater and you cant get there by magic or shadow travel- for one thing, shadow travel doesnt work underwater anyway- bcuz im not stupid like raine and say wher my top bazillion favorite places are in order.) contemplating life. i heard a knock and then heard percy's voice calling, "jelelne, can i come in?" percy was the only person who knew about my place, and i made him swear on the river styx not to tell anybody. i said the password and the boulder moved aside.

"Thanks!" I said, running to another side of the beach. For some reason, I needed to be alone to make an important decision. I started attempting to skip rocks again, but I didn't succeed. Cam came up behind me again, grabbed my waist and spun me around. After he spun me, he tried to turn it into a close hug.
"Soo" he said, pulling me closer "I heard you refused John or Joe er whatever" he flashed me a crooked smile
"It's Josh" I said "But I didn't refuse him so that I could be with you!" I said, pushing him away
I almost got away from him when he blocked my path with his arm.

in the miki's house discussion, we're levaing circe's island. in the big house discussion, kronos has attacked and retreated. we found the spy (her name is mandy johnson and she WAS the hc for apollo), and im not really jelene (just in that discussion). im really atalanta (yeah, THE atalanta) and i lead a troop of ancient heros. atalanta hooked up with achilles.

'yea, but we need him here. hey...... where is he?' i look around. 'lets go look for him.'
i walk over to the Aphrodite Cabin, and peek in the window. every "child" in there was getting pampered. i guess their mom arranged for it. i open the door, and pull Brian out. when i turn to face him, i see he is only wearing a towel. he clutches the towel firmly, and i blush.
Selena walks out, sneering. 'if you wanted to see so much of him, why didnt you just elope like that loser in the Zeus cabin and my sister?'
Brian shoots daggers at her with his eyes, and mutters something about changing into clothes.
i wait till hes gone, and say,' say one more thing about my friends, and your gonna get it.' i take my knife out, twirl it around my fingers, and starts walking away.
'that M!k! girl has awful hair, Jenele cant shoot an arrow for her life, Liz is a hoe who cant decide what guy she wants, and that Hades kid is good for nothing else than dying and buying this on the black market.' she says.
i throw my dagger toward her without turning around. she gasps, but soon realizes i didnt hit her.
'ha! you missed!' she calls after me.
'look down, and be glad i didnt do more.' i say.
she looks down and sees her hair. she screams, and feels that the right side of her hair had been sliced completely off. Brian runs out of his cabin, and catches up with me.
'you needed me?' he says.
'yes.' i say, smiling. 'my friends keep asking me when the wedding is, so we are going too my cabin to plan it.'

"Because he'll spike the drinks, right?" I laughed as I waited for the caterers to pick up.
"New York City Catering, this is Miraya speaking, how may I help you?" she said.
"Hello, this is Michaela Ramirez, I'm calling to book a date for catering at a wedding on August 21st. Can you cater that wedding on the date?" I asked.
"Yes we can. Please say your name, cell phone number, and email adress so we can contact you easily." she requested.
I recited everything to her.
"Thank you for calling. We'll get you for a meeting soon with us, ma'am. Have a nice day." she said, then hung up. I got into my car (which was now at camp, since I didn't ask anybody to take it home for me) and drove off into the city.
"Hey, Jelene, what fabric did you want me to get?" I asked, walking into the best fabric store in New York.

'i wanted to think about you that day.' i say, smiling back at him. Jelene clears her throat, and i remember she is sitting right next to us. i blush and look down, but Brian just smiles. 'anyway' i clear my throat, trying to make my face return to normal color. 'i think the wedding should be next to the lake, or on top of half-blood hill. thats just my opinion, though. what do you think Brian?' i turn toward him.

"its perfect. we're all set," miki said, smiling.
"oh, good. now, i get 5 minutes of relaxation time before not being able to have any time until the wedding. nobody talk to me for five mintues!" i said.

'yeah. there are only twenty mortal people coming. we can tell everybody here when, and stuff. lets see, all we need now is a boat, dresses, and a minister.   i think the guests should be on boats, but the actual wedding party should be on the water. i mean, some of the mortal guests might get to freaked out. then again, we could just have chairs on the water. the Mist might make them think they ARE on boats. anyway, there are going to be three bridesmaids and, of course, my maid of honor. the maid of honor's dress, i think, should be different from the bridesmaid dress.

'M!k!, do you think Connor and Travis could rig up some fireworks? i thought it would be cool if the ceremony was timed perfectly to were it was beautiful sunset, and when we kiss, it is nighttime, and fireworks go off. would that be to complicated?' i ask.

the weeks flew by so fast. i completed the 3 (or is it 4? lets see, theres miki, liz, jaydia, and me. one of us is the maid of honor.. so yeah, its 3) bridesmaid dresses. they were a soft shade of blue that matched brians eyes exactly. they floated just above the knees. the neckline was a halter top, but draped a little in the old greek way. the maid of honors dress looked exactly the smae, only it was emerld green. it was the brides dress that took peoples breath away. for the sleeves, there were none. the fabric was gathered up at one shoulder- the other shoulder was completely bare. the skirt shimmered and flowed down to the ankles. it was traditional white, with a burst of emerald green tied around the waist. gwen looked stunning. of course, the wedding was still a week away, and nowhere near ready.

we (all the brides maids, maid of honor, and me) were trying on our dresses.
'wow Jelene. you really outdid yourself. these are amazing! thank you sooooooo much!' i squeal. i give her a big hug. just then there is a knock at the door.
'Gwen?' came the muffled voice of Brian.
'GO AWAY!' shouted Jelene.
'why?' he sounded hurt.
'because she has her wedding dress on, and ive worked to hard for the surprise to be ruined! GO AWAY!' says Jelene. i walk over to the closet, pull out one of Tyson's coats, and put it on. it is huge, and so it covers the dress. M!k! raises and eyebrow.
'hes been badgering me about not honoring the tradition of "not seeing the bride before the wedding" all week. he will probably open the door any second now.' i whisper.
'well, i guess i will just go away then.' Brian says, his old playfulness replacing the hurt. he stomped, pretending to walk away.
'good!' i say loudly. 'i was thinking he would open the door and see my dress.' just then, he opened the door, looking triumphant.
'i TOLD you i would see it.....' he frowned. 'no fair! how did you know?'
'i just know you.' i say, smiling.
'now OUT!' says Jelene. she kicks him, and he stumbles out the door.

'ok!' i took the straightener, and began the long task. when i was finished, my hair was pin straight, and so long, it hung to my waist. i took some of Jaydia's clips, and pinned part of my hair up, so the rest of it cascaded down my back like a waterfall. i sprayed my hair thoroughly with hairspray, and put my wedding dress on. then i pinned my veil in. 'do i look alright?' i ask nervously.

the ceremony went beautifully, flawlessly. brian looked stunning, and just slightly outshone gwen (being a son of aphrodite and all). gwen herself looked radiant. the wedding went smoothly. when it was time to exchange vows, brian said just the rigth words. i could almost literally see gwens heart melt. i almost started crying when they said, "i do." it was going perfect, until it was time to party. somehow raine had managed to melt the ice sculpture and half of the cake was mysteriously missing. i sighed. "well, you cant have everything," i said before pulling raine to the side and quietly killing him. i didnt want to interrupt the party. i made sure all the gods were there- last time someone forgot to invite all of them, the trojan war happened.
as fate would have it, one particular goddess was NOT invited- eris, goddess of strife. of course, she was teh same goddess from last time. and of course, me being in charge of the guest list, it was me who was punished.

i was glad i had put water proof mascara on. i was crying, as was Brian. he smiled at me. 'you have made me, the happiest man on earth.' he kissed me. i put my arms around him. 'i love you.' i whisper. 'thats why were here, isnt it?' he pulled me onto the dance floor, and we shared a slow dance. 'hey! come on! we want to eat cake! you guys have to have the first bite, so come over here!' yelled Andrew. i laughed. we went over to the table, and cut the cake. i shoved a piece in his mouth, and he mine. i was so happy. completely blissed out. there was the traditional father daughter dance, so i danced with Poseidon. 'you are beautiful.' he told me. 'this Brian kid is lucky to have you.' i blushed, its rare to be called beautiful by a god, even if it is your father. i was dancing with Brian again, when i saw a bright flash. 'EVERYBODY CLOSE YOUR EYES!!!!' i shout. all the heros would know to do this, but the mortals wouldnt. luckily, everyone did, except for the gods. a lady appeared, hands clenched in fists of rage. 'WHO DARED TO NOT INVITE ME?! AGAIN!!!' Eris stormed over to Jelene. 'THIS IS YOUR FAULT! I WILL PUNISH YOU BY SENDING YOUR LOVE TO.....'

i shook my head. "no, it wont work, somethign would go wrong. its HIS quest, he has to do it."
for the rest of the party, i kept as close as i coudl to zach. he was NOT leaving my side the whole evening.
we snuck out to the beach before the party was over. "so, who are you taking?" i asked, nudging his shoulder as we walked barefoot along the beach.
he shrugged. "i think i'll take cam, and probably rick," he said. "id take you but..." he trailed off. i understood. he didnt want me to be in danger.
"its ok," i said, slipping my hand into his. "wanna sit?" i asked, guesturing to my favorite rock.
we sat down and just looked at the stars for a minute. my favorite was orion. it was the first constolation i ever found without someones help, and it had always held a special place in my heart.
after a few minutes of sitting in silence, he untangled our hands. i looked over at him, surprised. he was digging around in his pocket. "everythign ok?" i asked. he nodded. he seemed unable to speak. then he brougt out a small black box. he offered it to me. i looked at him. "whats this?" i asked.
"open it," he said.
inside was a ring. it was gold, and there was an emerald set in it. around the emereld were lighter green stones, which i figured out were a mixture of peridot and green amythyst. i looked at him, my mouth slightly open. "what...?"
"jelene elle smith," he began, "will you marry me? ive thought about this a lot, and tonight, when eris showed up and gave me the quest, i knew i wanted to do this now. we can wait, or we can do it as soon as i get back. i love you, jelene, and i want to spend the rest of my life with you."
i looked at him, a smile on my face. "yes!" i said. i threw my arms around him. "we dont have time to do it before you leave, so as soon as you get back!" i said. "as soon as you return."

"well, raines stupid. he didnt pack any food," i said, just as he ran back in the direction of the kitchen. "gotta grab some food!" he yelled as he sprinted past us. as soon as he turned the corner, he stopped and started wheezing. he thought we couldnt see him, but we could.
zach, rick, and cam left the next morning. they went by way of the sea. cam saw them safely out to a boat that was waiting to take them along the coast and to the sea of monsters.
days passed. i waited for news by iris message, cell phone, whatever. none came, or at least, none that i was alerted to. but i didnt worry. once on a quest, some people hardly ever contacted camp. after 4 days, i was at teh beach. i was swimming to relax my muscles after a tense training session with miki. i let the water wash over me. it felt so good!
suddenly, someone on the shore was calling my name. i looked up. it was connor. i swam into the beach, confused. "what is it?" i asked.
he looked worried. "it's, well, itd better let chrion tell you."
i followed him. "is it my store? did something happen to it?"
"chrion will explain it better than i can," was all he said.
"it IS my store," i said. "holy poop, what happened?!"
we arrived at the big house. chiron was on the steps in centaur form. he looked at me sadly. "i am sorry, child," he said.
"what happened to my store, chrion?" i asked.
he looked at me, confused. "what do you mean, your store? did connor not tell you? we got an iris message from the quest. there was an attack. it was a trap. im sorry."
"chiron," i sid, my voice shaking. "what happened? why are you looking at me like that? TELL ME!" recognition dawned on me. horror crossed my face. "no. you dont mean- no. NO!"
he nodded sadly. "im sorry."
"why do you keep apologizing?! what did you do?!" i yelled. "sorry, that wont make up for the fact that- that-" my voice broke. "that zach died."

i am sword fighting with Percy in the sword fighting arena (where else?). we are both swinging, when we freeze. we look at each other, and take off toward the Big House. i dont know how it happened, but we knew something was wrong with Jelene. i guess its a sibling thing. we got there a short time later. i see her crumpled on the ground crying. 'what happened?' i ask, feeling helpless. 'Zach........' Miki trailed off. comprehension dawned on me. 'oi.' i imagine how i would feel if Zach were Brian, and choke. 'i-im sorry Jelene.' i stammer, wondering what i can do. i know i would run, and not stop running till i was far away.i look down, and think Jelene probably isnt that way. 'guys, lets, lets give her some room.' i say. we all file out, leaving her alone to mourn.

i had forgotten how to cry long ago, but my grief was beyond tears anyway. i thanked raine, but asked if i could wait a little bit before talking to him. i went down to the beach and sat on my favorite rock, looking out towards the ocean. i could hardly comprehend what had just happened. my mind was in shock. i hardly heard the footsteps behind me. i didnt notice that anyone was there until he spoke.
"i heard about zach. jeez, that must suck!"
i turned and saw none other than travis stoll standing behind me. "may i sit?" he asked.
i jumped up. "no, you jerk! i fit werent for you, he wouldnt be dead!" i said.
he looked surprised. "how so?"
"well, you went and... you know, so we broke up! then i started going out with zach. when eris showed showed up, she punished ME by making my love go and DIE! if we hadnt broken up, he would still be here!" i yelled.
he regarded me calmly. "if i remember correctly, YOURE the one who ended our relationship."
i screamed in rage and slapped him. "YOU F***ING JERKFACE!" i ran off to my cabin.

"its travis. hes being SUCH a jerk! gods, i hate him!" i told her about what happened. "oh, and sorry for scaring away your brid. i know im overreacting a bit much about all of this. im sorry, and im gonna try and pull myself together."
i calmed myself, trying to stop the flurry of emotions coming from the inside. my face turned stoic for a second as i struggled to regain composure. finally, i calmed myself down enough to have a civilized conversation with mostly anybody. i started talking with gwen, trying to steer my mind away from zach and travis. it was tehn that the iris message from dad came.

"h..hi, dad," i told posiedon.
"so, i heard through the grapevine that you're going to get married!" he said, smiling. then he noticed my face and frowned. "whats wrong?"
"zach is so ungrateful!" i yelled. everyone behind me looked a little shocked.
"um, jelene?" miki said.
"what did he do?" posiedon asked.
"he... he DIED!" i screamed.
dad was quiet for a second. "died?"
i nodded, unable to speak.
"jelene, may i talk to you alone, please?" he asked. once everybody left, he said, "jelene, i know you're upset, but i want you to know soething. aphrodite came to visit me. she said she had a message for you, but she wanted ME to tell you." he shook his head. "i will never understand her," he muttered.
"dad? the message?" i prompted.
"she told me that she had some surprises in store for you, but she would make sure that you ended up with who you were supposed to be. she also said that there are plenty of other guys out there," he told me. "and something about having to choose and not joining the hunters."
i nodded. "right. there are other guys out there. ill give zach his burial rights, burn his shroud, and hope he makes it into elysium. ill miss him, but shes right. i need to move on. hey, the camp is having another dance this week. i think i'll go. hey, dad, tell aphrodite thank you for me, ok?" i asked.
"sure thing," he said. then the immage shimmered and dissapeard, but nbot before he said, "tell gwen i said hi!"

  basically just hold alt and press random number keys random numbers of times and you usually get weird symbols-╙, or letters-g, or letters with weird things over them-Ä

  i think u have to have a lap top to do the ☺☻ and the ♥
  but u can still do some stuff on a normal computer just press random keys w\ alt
