more »Each year my mother and I try to expand our reading horizons by trying books and authors we may not normally choose. This is now the fourth year and I feel this challenge, for us, has been a huge success. We have tried many new authors and genres I would not have previously read. In the past we have chosen a category for each month. This year we have chosen categories and have not assigned a month. This will give us a little more freedom on when we read which category. We also included a category which requires a minimum of three books; we have allowed two months for that category. As always, please post the title, author, number of pages, and a short review after you have finished a book. This will help others decide if this is a book they should add to their tbr pile.
