Alright. At Antietam. McClellan highky considered sending a reserve corps in to break the enemy line and the stalemate. (If he had he probably would have.) But he was warned against it by that corps commander. Who was he?

Which Colonel with what regiment held out for half an hour without support at Fort Wagner after the original attack by the 54th Massachussetts? And, BTW, I figured out how to use the mods. I just finished an exciting street by street battle in Sharpsburg on the Antietam map commanding LAwton's corps (Chantilly OOB). Its wicked! Hahaha! Except alot of the mods don't work regularly. I will have to come show you once I come over!

lol. I was just playing McClellan at Anteitam (TC2M.) Completely massacred Lee. He had 248 men left at the end. But we bot took grevious losses. But hey, this just shows what the Army of the Patomac can do when played right! There were some 850 man strong veteran regiments just waiting to be unleashed, also, this was a mission, so reforcements came in as time went along, I started with two corps, ended with five or six. BTW, if you havn't guessed, I finally worked the CMP and am starting to learn how to download all the mods and work this thing.

BTW, how's your spring break going? Where are you? How's everything? lol. I'm typing this while in Paris!!! I just came here on train from Switzerland. Europe is pretty cool!

Arsenal vs. Barcelona in Champions League quarterfinal. AAAH! haha. So have you brought up those summer ideas to your parents yet? Gotta do it soon!!! So I went to this Global Issues Network conference with students from my school (Switzerland. They left today and my dad and I went to Paris). There were alot of presentations and speakers in which I slept a lot. But I did get a lot out of the whole thing. lol. Have you read the HUNGER GAMES yet? You have to seriously... Oh, and a good movie to watch which you would like is OCEAN'S ELEVEN. theres a 12 and 13 also, but I haven't seen them. There is some swearing though... but its like National Treasure. I just bought the coolest game on my iPod, its called Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. Fun!!! but its $10... Still worth it though! We should get together sometime after break and catch up on stuff! The generals chose straws.

Sorry for such a short posting.

OK, I have brought up the summer ideas, I am confident that they'll work. I have seen lots of people reading the Hunger Games lately, so I think I will too. I have seen Oceans 13. It was good, haven't seen Oceans 11 or 12 though. Grand Theft Auto = I hope Chinatown Wars is better than the origional, because regular GTA sucks. Like really.

And my first week back from break is very busy, but I'll find someday free. BTW, a demo for Scourge of War Gettysburg just came out!!!!! Now that's cool. I can't play it yet because I don't have my PC with me. But, talking of Mad Minute Games...

The people in the forum, like me, are all doing something really cool. Its kinda like multiplayer. There is one guy that is played a standard game of TC2M. Then we have about 10 other guys, each man has a separate command. For example, I am a Brig Gen Stevens, my commander is General Reno, who is another person on the forum. The army commander is General Pope, yet another person. I have a fellow divisional commander, General Reynolds. So, there is a chain of command. The way we do thing is each commander issues orders to his inferiors. This goes on until all the divisional commanders have issued commands. Then the person actually playing the game collects all the orders, played for a time, and when he finds it prudent, he reports back to the divisional commanders, who report up until we get back to army command. The we start over!

It's really complicated, but we are already deep into it and I have alreaduy made first contact with the enemy and am fighting well. The whol thing is based off of private messages.

Also, I have mastered map downloading. I may not have Fredericksburg, but now I have Williamsburg, Andersons Crossroads, and two other maps. It's going pretty good.

      Anyway, how's your break going?

My break is going well. That sounds fun with the army chain command thing. You'll have to show me that and the map downloading when you get back. I CANT WAIT TO GET THE DEMO!!! I don't have my PC either... GTA CHINATOWN is really fun. I think so. Its definitely better than the regular GTA. I just went to an awesome party yesterday from like 10 to 3 in the morning. I'm still in Paris btw. So I got in because a cousin was going. It was so fun!!! French people love New Yorkers. haha. They all listen to English music and half of them don't understand the words. I danced with some pretty girls, met people, spoke bad french, etc. LOL. 3 more days before I get back to NYC. I'm definitely dead in our CWS...

Oh my God. I have to say this. OK Sergei, you know how you made that OOB where we were outnumbered 3 or 4 to 1. Well I held out for 4 hours. The Union just would send enough troops at me, so I took 7000 casualties while they took 12000. I left it going while I was at a service because I had made a invinsable line, but they completely took my left, to I ended the game with less that 5000 troops on the field.

No, shoulda, but I am in the middle of writing one, so I couldn't have the time. It was really fun though. The AI really sucked for some reason, they sent in about one brigade per half hour, each time they get destroyed, then they would just get blasted up by my arty. I knew that my left was less stable than my right, but I left it going anyway. Then they did what they should have done hours before and launched a corps attack on my left and sent them packing. But I still ended the game with 1900 points. :)

Oh, and yea, it's your question.

Alright, we have to get this up and running again. 13-13.

Um... Before the battle of First Manassas, when the confederate soldiers were being loaded onto trains, who did General Jackson remark to his aide as the most finely dressed officer in the entire army?

Merci boucoup. Things are doing real good. My workload is still huge, but I'm ok nonetheless. As for free days, ask me when the month of May is over. After that I'm good. However, at the beginning of June I am going to Japan as part of my school's exchange program. I got in. I'll be there for 2 weeks. But, to the question.

In the naval battle of the Moniter vs the Virginia, why did the Union ship disengage? (On accident.)

Cool. Bring money to Japan so you can get like $1000 worth of stuff for like $100. Haha. Serious though. And you have to negotiate prices with them and you'll get it cheap! Have fun in Japan. I'm going to Italy at around the same time. Oh, and how was your story reading? I want to read it sometime. Haha.

What do you mean on accident btw? I dont understand the question.

Firstly. I believe that the negotiating thing only works in China ;)

But as for the question: When the Union ship disengaged, it did not purposefully do so. It was a attending to a certain other matter and amidst the chaos the boat drifted away. When it came back, the Virginia was gone, so both sides claimed victory. My question is why did the Monitor drift away.

Oh yeah, my bad. China. So are you free Wednesday? Call me ok?

Um... the Monitor had to plug hole(s) in their ship to stop it from sinking???

New deadliest warrior which I'm going to watch on Wednesday or Thursday. Nazi SS vs Viet Cong.

once summer comes 'round imma watch all the deadliest warriors. Right now I am watching tons of South Park.

No, actually the Viriginia rammed the Moniter after 4 hours fighting. The Moniter's captain was wounded and amidst the chaos the ship drifted away. Think the Moniter was actually retreating the Virginia claimed victory. When the Moniter came back, the Virginia was gone, so they claimed victory as well.
