SoLa Salon is a private women's book club with twelve members. We've been meeting for four years, and have a supportive and energizing culture based on good food, good wine, and great friends. We take turns picking the books, which results in a dynamic tension that fuels conversation as we agree and disagree about the merits of each selection. SoLa Salon fills a gap for each of us and is an important and enriching part of our lives. We are reportedly one of the few book clubs in which the book is actually a topic of discussion and in which the members enjoy each other. « less
