I'm sure every writer here shares a similar sentiment at one time or another. When you keep posting and posting, hoping that someone out there will take notice and bother to click that link, use that search engine and find out more about the writer and one's works behind the blog posts.
I'm fine with giving away some of my work for free while keeping some titles for purchase by genuine buyers. But it has come to a certain time when you just wonder whether all that posting, interacting and accompaying effort had been worthwhile. If no one checks out our work for sale and for free giveaways then one questions the purpose of being at a site for writers and readers.
Is this really working? Do people really care? Is there really any interest? Once in a while even we solitary, robust, single-minded, soldier on no-matter-what, veteran of rejection slips folk would really like 'to feel the love', of being appreciated, acknowledged and to have people acquire our works which we're selling through honest and legal means.
Show your support. This same clarion call applies to artists, artistes, artisans, craftspersons, tradespersons of any genre/discipline.
Make your selections. Buy the works of authors so that they can make a living from their life's passion.
Any writer here would appreciate it, including yours truly.
