  I've just read the first two and eagerly awaiting the delivery of the rest of the series and True Blood DVDS. I thought the second book was better tho

  I just bought True Blood DVDs, I haven't watched it yet but then I'm also planning to read the whole series, is it good enough? Please, tell me more about it.. Thanks!

  YES!! I have read all 9 books and loved them. Since you have watched the first season already it is basically based on the first book with some minor changes. I don't want to give it away since you are planning to read them but if you liked the show I think you enjoy the books as well.

  Just finished the last book in the series and already can't wait for the next one, thought true blood was a good adaption although I thought Jason got a bit too much screen time really liked Tara's characterisation and Lafayette fab!

  Wow you guys!!

  I've just started on Sookie Stackhouse. I'm on the first book 'Dead Until Dark'. Im a True Blood hound...:D get it?!? true blood...hound?!? :-P sorry couldn't resist.

  Anyway, like I was saying I'm a BIG fan of True Blood which motivated me to pick up Harris' books again. I did try reading her books once before, before True Blood and the book totally put me off but after watching True blood I get to put the faces to the names and that makes it easier for me to read her books.

  I'm on pg 116 where Sookie tells Arlene that she plans to move in to her Gran's room.

  I wonder why I haven't come across Tara yet, in the series, Tara is introduced at the beginning I wonder how Harris introduces her in the book. Oh well!! I'll let you guys know how book ONE goes!!.
