We are a group in a small town in the north central part of Texas. We meet on the last Monday of the month. Members take turn choosing the books.
The rules are simple:
(1) Nobody is allowed to judge another member if they didn’t read (or finish) the book.
(2) Books can have political or religious themes, but they should not be political or religions books.
Example: Animal Farm = OK. How To Talk to a Liberal (If You Must) = not OK. There is a time and place for intense religious, theological and political discussions, but this club is not it!
(3) The book should be somewhat of a classic or should have at least stood the test of time.
