    Confirmation Emails?

When you sign up for a tour with FIRST Wild Card, are you getting confirmation emails that you're on the lists? Some have limited copies, and I'm wondering if that's why some books aren't arriving, or if it's supply problems on the other end of things:~/

i usually don't. i think i've gotten one from Vicky @ Tyndale and then 1 from an author. Otherwise, I just have to wait by the mailbox to see if I'm actually on the list or if Mimi sends out the post saying it's all filled.

Naw, that can't be true Deborah! You've got to be the sweetest person around. I haven't gotten a lot, and I don't have them anymore, because I delete them when the book arrives. I think their suppose to send out confirmations and some are just missed. :o)

BTW can you tell me how to do the strike through on your blog. I'd like to do that with the fall into reading I just don't know how. ; )

i used to do it through MS Word where you can do it through the font, but ever since i updated to firefox 3, blogger absolutely hates MS Word with a passion (html madness). so i've just been going to paperbackswap's website where when you post a message there's a strikeout option and copy and pasting from there.

Very few, Tyndale is pretty good about it, and they are SO fast with their shipping, so is BB Media, and some individual authors but many, many of the others never reply, most times the books arrive in any case.

Still waiting for Road to Lost Innocence *longing*

I'm going to start requiring the contact to send me a list of the blogsites who will receive the books. I can then post it on the Wild Card message board and no one will have any question as to whether they should get the book or not.

Usually the contact has a contact by date...and after that they will not answer emails or send out books. I list it on the posted message
