    Multiple books at once.

I'm curious, does anyone else find themselves reading two (or even more) books at once? I'm reading one book at work during my breaks and reading another when I'm home.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. (How's that for a non-answer?)
If I'm reading something particularly weighty and I find that it's bringing me down, I'll put it aside and read a few Dave Barry essays or even a comic book until I feel ready to go on.

And, most all of the time, I have a novel going (which I read quickly) and a non-fiction book of some kind (which I read more slowly).

And, sometimes, I take an informational book and cherry-pick the stuff I'm most interested in.

I'm reading an eBook by Eric Flint at the same time that I'm reading a paper book. As I wait for books to show up at the library, I have to read SOMETHING... I'm always reading SOMETHING... it's just who I am. Sometimes, the somethings overlap.

I always have several books going at once. I try to limit myself to 5. I have always done this and assumed that my wife was strange because she only reads one book at a time. I recently found out that normal people usually only read one or two books at once.

Currently I have 5 going and one that I was reading, but it has gone stale. I need to pick it back up and finish it within the next 2 weeks so I can give it back to the owner when I see him.
