Just wanted to share this article regarding a new memoir by Faulkner's niece, Dean Faulkner Wells. It's called Every Day by the Sun: A Memoir of the Faulkners of Mississippi. Here's the link:

Have you read it? If not, please let us know what you think when you do. Is it Faulkneresque?

I haven't read it--heard a great interview with her on NPR though. Todd, what do you think about putting a picture of Faulkner up for the group instead of the generic group icon? I think only you, the admin, can do it. It would probably bring more attention to the group, leading to more members. Plus, I just think it would be cool:) Could you add a picture for us?

I read it - not Faulkneresque, but then, she's not Faulkner (or, thank heavens, trying to be). Good info about Faulkner himself, though - some insights into his family, his era, his contemporaries. I liked reading about him from a family member's perspective, it made him very real and human to me.
She's a good writer and I enjoyed the book.
