The world consists of numerous women of various ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, religious beliefs, styles and interests, however in the Erudite Aphrodite Book Club, we all share the same passion as a common bond...WE LOVE TO READ. We all have beauty and brains and this book club is the place to kick off our shoes and be comfortable with that. Wisdom is eternal and beauty is internal...embrace them both with us.
Started by an avid book reader and published author, Katrina "Queen Uniqu" Shanks, the Erudite Aphrodite Book Club began in late 2008 and plans to resume in early 2011 meeting online to review, read and discuss books of all genres on BlogTalk Radio with online applications offering giveaways, prizes & so much and more. There will be a new invited guest speaker each month varying from Mary Kay consultants, pedicure specialists, fellow authors and writers, popular book reviewers and more to make each get-together relaxing, fun, informative and good for the soul. After reviewing the group's interests and suggestions, each monthly read will be ordered at a special discounted rate for members and an outline will be emailed to assist with the discussion. We as women need positive reinforcement, literature, knowledge, unity and self expression to survive and grow and Erudite Aphrodite would like to be an alternate source for this.
