Have you read The Lady Most Likely

    Hello,

I downloaded The Lady Most Likely on my Kindle the moment after I read the article in RWR. I couldn't help but be curious. Three seperate authors put this book together, writing it in three sections and then adding chapters to link it all together. Plus I love Julia Quinn and Eloisa James. I have never read a book by Connie Brockway, but I knew I wanted to give this book a read. So far, I'm really enjoying it, and although I can tell when a new author's voice enters the book, it's very smooth and I love to see the differences in writing style. Has anyone else picked this book up yet? What did you think? I'm only half through, so no spoilers please.

I haven't read it yet even though I swear I am a Julia Quinn fan. One of these days I will get to it. I didn't realize it was written like that....I thought it was an anthology. I would have been surprised when I finally did pick it up to read LOL.

I'm almost done with the book and I thought it was great. It was funny, I could actually pick out my favorite author from the three that wrote the book. They put this book together very well which I know must have been difficult. I enjoyed it. And Christina it was Julia Quinn's characters that I liked most. :)

Is the compilation of this book the same as The Further Observations of Lady Whistledown and Lady Whistledown Strikes Back? I like those two books.

I like the Lady Whistledown books too.

Asya, you should read it, I orginally thought the same, and as a writer I wanted to see how they brought their parts together since I read how they created the story. They each took a different herione. It was a light, easy read. After you read it let me know what you think.

I thought it was put together well , especially considering three different authors wrote it. Let me know if you enjoy it, Laura.
      Happy reading!!

I read it and I loved it! It was the first time I read a book with a combined effort of 3 authors and I liked how it all pulled together as one. I would recommend it

On your recommendations above I went to download this book and unfortunately (but as I often find) this is not available in kindle format in the UK. UK publishers are getting better but there are still may who have kindle formats available in the US but not the UK. They'll catch up with the tech soon I hope.....

Well that stinks! Have you read Noble Intentions or The Trouble with Harry by Katie MacAlister. I like her historicals, they are very funny. Perhaps try to see if you can get any Victoria Alexander novels, I know I like her work. You've now made me wonder if my books are available on Kindle through the UK, I think they are, but I will double check to make sure. Let's hope the publishers there catch on quickly, I love my Kindle, it certainly beats having piles of paperbacks everywhere. :)

I loved those stories, Penny, they had me laughing out loud. I'd love to see her write more historicals. I'm reading Teresa Medeiros The Vampire Who Loved Me. So far I'm enjoying it. Have you read any other great historicals, I love getting recommendations. Happy reading :)

I just read both this one and the The Lady Most Willing. Both were hilarious and blended really well though I have to say that the Lady Most Willing was more seamless wheras Most Likely was more bumpy feeling.
