Summer movies ( NO SPOILERS PLEASE!!)

It is still early to say what my favorite movie of the summer will be. The Dark Knight was really amazing. The X-Files starts friday and it is going to have to knock my socks off. Get Smart was not like the old show, but it was cute. The Love Guru was memorable, but nothing too stellar. Clone Wars is another "wait and see." So, which ones are best?

Hey, you left out Iron Man. It was terrific. Dark Knight was also excellent, as was Wall-e. I vote for Iron Man as being the best so far.

I'm looking SO FORWARD to seeing The Dark Knight, but I have to say I saw the Incredible Hulk a few weeks ago and it was surprisingly good. I would've enjoyed it much more if the lady next to us would've shut up for five minutes!

I never got into the X-Files so i don't think i'll be seeing that. I want to see "Wanted" but my husband thinks it looks tacky, so i'll have to wait for that one to come on video and watch it while he's on the side of a mountain.

Iron Man looks good too as Bette L said so i may convince him to go see that one and we'll make it a summer of Marvel comics! :)

Isn't it a summer for comics? I don't remember this many comic book/movie adaptations. I should see the Incredible Hulk, as I understand there was an Iron Man tie-in. The Dark Knight was really, really dark.

Yes, just saw the trailer for Watchmen. Can't wait!!

I think we'll probably see them all since they are fun movies to watch. Yes, the Hulk does tie in into Iron Man. i read somewhere that they all were going to be tied into each other in some way.

Your right I don't remember this many movies out based on comics either! I'll take it since there hasn't been many movies out there that are worth the price of a ticket that's for sure!

I was a total X-files addict during the years it was on tv, but the first movie was odd.
It was the same with the movie of Twin Peaks...if you had been following the series, the movie was sort of a condensed version with nothing new to add, and if you hadn't seen the series, you must have wondered what the heck was going on.
So no, I'm not looking forward to the new X-files movie!

Okay Mark H, I was not a fan because I worked while it was on. We bought all the X-Files DVDs (except when Terminator guy and that other girl were in the last season). After watching a bunch of them this winter when we were snowed in - If I go this weekend I will tell you if it is better than the first one.
