  LinnieGayl is now the moderator

  Most of you know that as of November 1st, I'm officially gone from AAR. In actuality I've had nothing to do with the public face of the site for two weeks now and am simply tying up loose ends. One of those loose ends is to transfer responsibility of AAR on Shelfari to LinnieGayl. She and Randi continue will handle AAR Group Shelf.

  One of the few "public" things I'm continuing to do now that I'm no longer "Laurie Likes Books" but simply Laurie Gold - and unfortunately I cannot change my shelfari "name" correspondingly, oh well - is to keep up my personal Shelfari shelf. But in order to let all the new management settle into their new responsibilities, I'm going to try and stay as under the radar as I possibly can, which means that for now, I'll probably not participate in discussions here - or begin them - and will slowly rejoin the fold as a plain old reader after some period of months.

  Thanks for broadening my horizons, Laurie, and introducing me to Shelfari. It is a great way to keep track of my books and develop my own "catalog." Sure beats a boring old database! Just another thing I can list on my "What I appreciate about AAR" list. Hope to see you around the boards in the future. Best regards...
