When choosing a category for this group I was stumped, because the series covers ALL the categories! I am busy reading the 8th book in the series and have thoroughly enjoyed them. And although I haven't yet come to a decent conclusion/summary that would fit nicely over here, I think it is worthwhile to at least start a group dedicated to these wonderful books. Where people will be able to discuss the books and share their ideas and insights with one another.
For anyone that hasn't yet read any of the books, I will say this: when speaking of prophets, the bible says "by their fruits you shall know them". Well, pretty much everything written in these books is simple, common sense (which is surprisingly not so common nowadays), working towards the betterment of humanity and the world in general, in order to achieve a harmonious relationship with each other and our creator. Now thats some fruit!
How many wars have been waged in the name of religion? how many people have been killed, murdered, sacrificed for their beliefs? Why are we killing our world - spewing noxious gases into the air and polluting the streams every day? As a human race, where are we all running TO? What have we all been running FROM? Can't we all just get along? Plant a tree! (or two or three :)
I am not a very religious/spiritual person, but there is something about these books...
