    Georgia -- Appalachian Writer

We got to have lunch with Phillip DePoy at Murder Goes South in GA. He graciously allowed me to use a quote from his first Fever Devlin mystery, THE DEVIL'S HEARTH for my blog. A fantastic writer on the noir side of mysteries, who can bring alive the dark side of the mountains. The Fever Devlin character is a folklorist like Dr. Lynwood Montell. A fun read in the mystique of the culture of the hills. You've all been there and will recognize many elements.
Check out his take on Troubadours at our blog www.pennhand.blogspot.com. It is under the picture to the left of the blog proper. Heck, read them all, Penny Dreadful is a great site for a short-short story. This is my new adventure on the web. I do my best to get something new up on Sunday night and to keep them short.
