Jem, here's instructions on how to get to the party venue:
(1) From Pasig, take transpo to go to the intersection of EDSA and Shaw Blvd
(2) Go up the MRT. Get a ticket for Cubao. Take the train going to North Avenue. That's the one passing by Cubao.
(3) Get off the Cubao station. Then take the somewhat extended walk to the other train, the Megatren. You'll pass by Farmers Plaza, then an open skywalk beside Araneta Coliseum, then into Gateway Mall. You can ask the guard at the entrance of Farmers Plaza (from the MRT Cubao station) for detailed instructions. (Take the higher floor entrance, kasi dere-deretso lang ang lakad mula dun.)
(4) The Megatren is outside the 3rd floor exit on the other side of Gateway Mall. Just ask the guard din at the entrance of Gateway Mall on how to get there.
(5) At the Megatren, get a ticket for Katipunan. Take the train going to Santolan. Yun ang dadaan sa Katipunan station.
(6) At the Katipunan station, exit via the turnstiles TO THE RIGHT of the escalator/stairs, NOT THE ONES ON THE LEFT. Importante ito a.
(7) Paglabas mo, just walk straight ahead. Then turn left at the next intersection, which is the intersection of Katipunan Road and Aurora Boulevard.
(8) As you turn left, kita mo na agad yung mga tricycles na naka-istasyon malapit sa kanto. Get into one, and say that you're going to Xavierville Subd. (I'll post the exact address later.)
(9) Nakarating ka na!
