Denise Cavaliere- know her?
I just finished reading 'As the Belly Rolls' y Denise Cavaliere. She is a dancer in the New York area who wrote a fun collection of autobiographical essay that compose this book. Where as the book is exactly about Belly dancing, it is written by a professional Belly dancer. I am not certain her age but I gather she is now retired. I was just wondering if any of you had ever heard of her or seen her dance. She seemed to have had an interesting life with several jobs, lots of travel, and interesting friends and family.
It is a short read but if you like reading biographies, I recommend it. You can read the whole thing in one sitting.
