In his book, Mohammed Khan takes on the task of discussing God. His book is appropriately entitled The Unfathomable Vastness of God, because God is so vast that He is beyond all thoughts of man. He is unfathomable and incomprehensible. What can we say of Him? His love is everlasting. His mercy endures forever. His power is greater than all power. He is able and ready to do exceeding abundantly above all we can ask or think. Noah saw the first rain fall to the earth. Enoch believed that he would not die, although all men since the first man, Adam had died before him. So Enoch did not die but was translated. Abraham believed that although his body and that of his wife Sarah were dead that they could bring forth a son. Isaiah prayed and the sun retreated ten degrees. Elijah prayed and a dead boy was resurrected. He prayed and it did not rain for three years and would not rain until he praued again. Anything that has been done can be done. Anything that can be asked be prayer can be done. Anything that can be conceived can be done. That which is impossible for man is possible with God. Just like we can never run out of numbers because one can always add one more, we can never set boundaries or limits for God. God is infinite in all his characteristics. So Khan begins to speak of God and acknowleges his unfathomable vastness because the pages of such a book discussing God would be endless.
