One of my fav groups of that era was The Eagles.
Loved these tunes and the sound.
"Peaceful Easy Feeling" was a favorite as well as
"Desperato" was such a sad but lovely song.
I had a friend I always equated this song to.

However, a good song to remind those of us with closed hearts to get on with it.

What about Sly and the Family Stone? "
    " Everyday people"
    "Dance To The Music"

Eric Clapton (Eric and the Dominos)
classic for what is sort of a scream.
    love the guitars

    Neil Young
    "Heart of Gold"
    Classic seventies sound....
Love the harmonica reminds me of Dylan
"Time Is Wasting"....he feels he is getting old and that elusive heart of gold he may not find.

    Who couldn't like
    Van Morrison's ......"Someone Like You"
Now this is easy listening, sit back with you baby music.

Also, he did "Crazy Love"...man, I remember these songs fondly.
It had to be the romantic side of me.

Another was "Have I Told You Lately"............oh man this one get to my heart.
"At the end of the day, we should give thanks and praise to the one I love."
    Wooooo...oh yes.
What woman would not love this song?

Need I go on? I love the seventies music.

      Yes Sassy,

but that's Derek, and the Dominos: Hmmm, I like the song, There's a Thron Tree in the Garden, sung by Bobby Whitlock: Man, AWESOME! Asfor Sly, and the Family Stone, I Played Guitar for Sly! When the Family Broke up, he called me a nd a trumpet friend of mine, to come to California, and Play in his New group, he was Starting: He, wanted, the family, back to back him up; but they, were under contract, to Miles Davis, They were his wife's Back up Band....her name, Betty Davis! OMG! That group, with her, was simply awesome!

But what about, Iron Butterfly? and rev, up your Chooper, and get that motor running....Steppinwolf! Yeah I LOVE 70's music, also....Why?
because, it was no dobt, the era of recorded Music ever! And the 60's, equallly follows, equally abiding! Jimi hendrix, Humble Pie, the Rolling Stones, But hey, Sassy, check through the posts, you'll already find, that many of the groups, and the artist, like Syl....that you, have mentioned, is already there! Oh, and that Syl thingy, I didn't make a mistake, it was what Sly, called himself, at times...."SYL!" WHY? Cause

      his name, is Sylvester!

YEAH, and thanx for the Input!
