more »So here you are, mister or misses adventurous reader. You are tired of reading from the harliquin romance novels you dearly love and wish to expand your medial knowledge to become what book club members call "well read".
After that first step into your faviourate bookstore, you stand for endless minutes looking around. You pick up some fancy soft cover novel from the history section, and put it down. Over in the mysteries, there is this book with a knife on the cover, #1 new york times best seller!, and this too goes back in place on the dusty shelf. After sorting through few other books you eventually come to the dismal thought "but what if this book is absolutly craptastic?"
If this is you, then this is your group.
Every week a recommended book will be posted which is completly up to group members to read. These suggestions can come from anywhere, hopefully from the group members themselves. No, the book does not have to be critically acclaimed since critics should bloody well write a book themselves, but it better damn well be an enjoyable read. Of couse enjoyment is a very subjective concept, but members of this group are looking to do a bit of literary spelunking.
