If you are thinking about becoming a seasonal or annual passholder...do!! We were just there last weekend (March 7 & 8, 2009) and got to attend a passholder only event that was held inside the animation building at Disney's Hollywood Studios (formerly called MGM). It was a Muppet Special Speaker event, and it was amazing!! We were escorted backstage and then to the animation building and all this was at no extra cost to us. At the end we had a picture with Gonzo and the man who is Gonzo!
So that's a new-ish discovery these passholder events. A discovery that all can enjoy:
1) Japan at EPCOT: go into the shop and go all the way to the back of the shop where they sell some of the japanese food stuffs, definitely worth trying out you will be amazed at what you like!
2) Magic Kingdom: Sleepy Hollow snack area - they make funnel cakes, waffles and carmel corn plus there's icecream too, its right after the bridge to Liberty Square - great location for the night parade!!
3) Disney's Hollywood Studios: Toy Story Mania Ride...get there early the wait gets long fast, but its a great ride for all ages as long as an occasional spin doesn't trouble you.
4) Animal Kingdom: The otter watching area by the Tree of Life...if you come across it, be sure to view from both locations, there is an above ground where you see their island and surrounding water, and then an area that looks like its a cave. This area gives a view of under the water so when the otters are swimming you can see them in action. Note: the otters like their naps so be sure to look for them well in the above ground area if you don't see them romping under the water!
