LOL!
We can just keep on making this list longer between the two of us!

35. wizards
36. weatherworkers (I'm actually thinking of Weather Wardens)
37. skinwalkers
38. walkers (there's a difference from the above but I can't recall what)
39. ents (heh, heh! ... guess what that's from)

I have read the Weather Wardens, the walkers are from Patricia Briggs, skinwalkers use the skin of an animal and are mostly evil, and ents from Lords of the Ring :)
I hope the other group members join us soon ;)

Me too ...

The skinwalkers have been mentioned in other books too.
I'm trying to remember where.
Maybe C.E. Murphy's Urban Shaman series or one of Neil Gaiman's books?

Skinwalkers! They were also mentioned in that really good paranormal mystery series that was written by a husband and wife team ... something and Aimee Thurlo maybe. Anyway, the main character is an Amerindian in law enforcement who was turned into a partial vampire.

Okay I'll bite!

How about wraiths (Phaedra Weldons series)

other ghost talkers (Linda Lael Millers series as well as others)

kate marsh's new series has all manner of ghostly dealing people with their own titles - some are mentioned above.

Toni Andrews gives her heroine the 'press' as she calls it- what would that be?

Oh and isnt a fire lizard known as a salamander? And dont forget the baselisk!

"The Press" would be an ESPer type of power ... tele-something.

How about we count them this way:

43. wraiths
44. baselisk

I think everything else is mentioned in one of the other lists.

45.
I'm not sure what to call this one.
I'm thinking of the Nina Kiriki Hoffman books especially "The Thread That Binds the Bones".
Psychic aliens from another or alternate world with magical powers?
