hey! thanks for the invite.

i'm currently reading, "i hunger for you" by susan sizemore. i like it a lot. i think the only thing about her books, well her 'prime' series, that i don't like is that they take a bit of time to really get going.

i have lora's 1st book in her 'breeds' series, can't wait to start reading it!

hey everyone! just found this invite to the group, thanks for not forgetting me ladycroft58!

Just finished reading Brother Odd by Dean Koontz. I love this series! Has to be one of my all time faves of other books I read besides para-romances. I find the character just endearing and he has such an unique POV, imho. If you're looking for something a little different to read...the series would be a good one to look at.

I'm just about 1/3 of the way into Witchling by Jasemine Galenorn. So for so good, I will continue reading it. It's about 3 halfbreed sisters...human and Faerie...out to save Otherworld and Earth. 1st book mostly involves the oldest sister, who is a witch. 2nd is called Changling, and the sister in that one is a Were...she changes into a tabbycat...which is actually quite funny when it happens. the 3rd is called Darkling i think. That sister is a vampire. I think, she has 6 books planned so far. Anyway, it's good, I already have the 2nd book, and plan to buy the 3rd when it comes out early next yr.

Aaalllrighty then...I'm babbling. Gotta go.
Happy Holidays everyone!

Still on LU but I am more than halfway through it. This has been the hardest Brotherhood book for me to read. I like it, but it isn't my favorite one. Glad to read that JM finally went through his change, now if Tohr gets his rear back everything will be good.

I just finished the new Lara Adrian book 'Midnight Awakening'. It was quite good. When I started the series, I thought Tegan would be a lot like Zsadist (I thought Lucan = Wrath, Dante = Rhage) but, in the end, he was much more like Phury I think. And not just the 500 years of celibacy. He was living on guilt.
Now I'm reading a Claimed by Shadow by Karen Chance. It's the second book in a series. It's something different and has vamps, weres, ghosts, witchs, the Fae - basically everything. The lead character is a clairvoyant. Once I'm finished it, I'm moving on to Kim Harrison's A Few Demons More. I waited to get it until it came out in paperback.

I just picked up Lara Adrian's new Book "Midnight Awakenings" and I'm half way through it. This warrior named Tegan is full of guilt and anger, but is there when his woman needs him.. JR Ward gave Adrian praise on the cover of her first two books, so I thought I check them out back then. They have kept me interested

Jackie Frank's books, are those a series? I've never read and of her stuff. Is it paranormal, romance, modern, urban???

I'm still waiting for my shipment to come in the mail...I think the God's of Education are pressuring me into studying, rather than reading about Tegan!
muah!

Hi, Dahlings~

I'm currently reading the 4th book (Dangerous Games) in the "Riley Jenson guardian series" by Keri Arthur. It's GREAT!!!

I have to admit the 1st book in the series was slow to start, but the more you read the better it got! And each book gets better & BETTER!!!

If you've not read, check em out!

In my earlier post, I said the next thing I was reading was Kim Harrison's For a Few Demon's More. However, I've been waylaid but my friend. She's given me a bunch of Sherrilyn Kenyon's books where she writes as Kinley MacGregor. So I'm reading the Lords of Avalon books right now - the one with Kerrigan and Seren.

I just finished Wicked Ties by Shayla Black. It was ok...I felt it was a little slow towards the middle and like the ending was a little rushed. Um, as far as steaminess...yeah...it was steamy. I did like how the male lead explained a Dom/Sub relationship to the female lead...so many times it's portrayed as something dark and sinister and borderline depraved. The author did a good job showing the amount of trust that actually comes into play.

Next up for me is Blood Brothers by Nora Roberts

just read- upon midnight clear- the latest kenyon offering ! Have to say it was a disppointing way to spend those hours. I am thinking perhaps im sufferering from BDB withdrawl, i usually find decent reading material to bridge the gap between but this was def not one of them, so i am moving on to vamp action in the from of Kathryn Smiths' third in the series- Taken by the night! Heres hoping for an improvement on the Dreamhunter!
