By "mystical texts" of course we mean not only those authored by Christians but also those coming from Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists and adherents of other religious traditions. This is not to aim at a unified theology or philosophy, but to see how mystical texts shape and are shaped by other elements of the different religious traditions.
