What else can I write here about Charles Bukowski that has not yet been written? This guy was a legendary poet, writer of fiction and all around inspirational genius. Charles Bukowski was born in Andernach, Germany, in 1920. Years later he ended up living in the Los Angeles area. To some, Buk is best known as one of the worst employees of the United States Postal Services. To others he is best known as a one of a kind street poet / novelist. From his early short stories "Aftermath of a Lengthy Rejection Slip" to his first novel "Post Office", Charles Bukowki has been an enduring literary figure that has changed the very concept of what literature may be.
