oldies but goodies
I have just joined this group as it is pursuing a path I have been walking off and on for years. I just submitted two books to the bookshelf that while not new, certainly affected my views of reality and conciousness profoundly. One is Marilyn Ferguson's The Aquarian Conspiracy, which detailed the overlapping of science (physics, physiology, etc.) and metaphysics, and the paradigm shift occurring globally in how human perception of its own role in reality was/is changing (I paraphrase, but you get the idea). Happily, I note she has a new book out just last year, which I look forward to reading as well.
I also included an obvious choice from Jane Roberts' wonderful collection of channelled Seth books, The Nature of Personal Reality.
Although the current bookself contains many wonderful tomes--many of which I haven't read yet but look forward to--there are several other authors that are (admittedly obvious) possible additions, including Richard Bach (Illusions, et al.), Deepak Chopra, & Wayne Dyer. Look forward to spending a little more time here & reading some of the books I have yet to check out.
Which reminds me, one of the books that got my sis started on a similar philosophical/reading journey were the Betty Books, though I have never read them (this goes WAY back). Has anyone else read them? Guess I'll put them on the 'need to read' list too, lol.
