    Aging ...

I don't mind aging per se and I adore birthdays (mine or others).
Everyone is fun and interesting no matter their age.

I do mind that all the years of neglecting myself is starting to show though ...
    Yelch.
You can't get away with as many things as you could when you were younger.
You don't get enough sleep ... you don't have energy to spare.
You don't eat right ... your stomach tells you in no uncertain terms.
You get fat and then thin again ... the skin doesn't spring back in place.

There should be wisdom that comes with experience.
    There is some of that.
There's also some memory loss :D

In the meantime (and this is what brought up this subject in my head to begin with), what's with our eyebrows?
I don't and never have plucked mine but I swear that they're disappearing.
    Where did they go?
Don't they always grow back in?
I could have sworn that I've heard of people that continually have to pluck them ...

LOL... I have to have mine waxed, not that I have an excess amount of hair, it just looks better when I have my brows waxed off. I can grow some long suckers though. Heck sometimes I think I can use them for fishing line :0)

There are advantages and disadvantages to certain ancestry. My advantage is that the only thing I've ever felt like I needed to shave/pluck/wax/etc. is under my arms ... about every week or so. On the other hand, my eyebrows are very sparse toward my temples.

Disadvantages: long torso and short legs ... kinda like a gorilla :D

When I was born, I was given a choice. I could:

    (1) .... have a GREAT memory....
    or
    (2) ... be GREAT in bed !!!

Sh*t!!! Now I forgot what I was gonna tell ya!

ROWL...... (1) you would have to have a "great memory"
      (2) So you could remember that you were "great in bed"

      My side hurts now....

Just kidding. In my family, the longer the women pluck/wax their eyebrows, the shorter they grow back! I have/had dark hair (LOL), but never shaved my legs above my knees, and the hair above my knees is light...you can hardly see it. In the winter, I don't shave my legs so I have something to hold my socks up with.

I figure that whatever eyebrows I used to have started migrating toward my chin!

    I've been thinking about appearances.
I guess I'm not a very thoughtful person.
To make it more pleasant for everyone else, I should put more effort into looking nicer.
It's kind of like straightening out a room or putting away the trash.
Pretty surroundings make people feel better about where they are.
Having prettier or cleaner or neater people around is part of the surroundings.
If I was more thoughtful, I'd have plucked, tucked, pierced, Botoxed, and nipped myself by now.
My bad attitude: Deal with it. Take me as I am :D

I'd rather take people as they are and not who they pretend to be.
I like to be around people who are real with themselves and others. Now, as far as appearances go,everyone has a certain way on how they want to look.Whether it's by make-up, hair color/style, waxing/plucking, clothes, whatever.
It's the person on the inside that shines through to the outside, is what really matters.

I think if you are comfortable with yourself, then what others think don't matter. Having a neat appearance always helps, but who can ALWAYS be neat? If I am myself, without hiding anything, and I am comfortable with myself, there is no worry! No bad attitude. You are right: Take me as I am!

I have noticed since I have gotten older there is this one certain hair that will grow that is in a very weird place. Everytime I pluck it out, it will come back. Sometimes that sucker will get long if I don't notice it in time. The way I wear my hair other people doesn't notice the one hair, but I do.

It's the top right side of my forehead. Now what's up with that? That ranks up there with hairy toes.

Yeah, I've got on on the bottom of my chin. Since it grows from a scar, I have to cut it, not pluck it. If I don't pay attention, it can get long, too.

And, I admit, I color my hair. It used to be "silver", which was cool, until someone asked my husband to introduce him to his MOTHER!!!

I just notice that as I get older, there's less contrast.
Everything starts to head for the same tone.
My skin used to be light.
Now it's starting to get the blotchy look.
My hair used to dark (almost black).
      It's been slowly turning grey.
Keep this up and I'll look like a statue ... all one hue.
