    VETERANS DAY!!!!!!!

I'm an American born and bred. I have Cherokee heritage on both sides, my dad and mother. I am a Christian and proud of my country even though I don't like what's going on right now. I am proud of each American who has served and is serving in our Armed Forces.

As a American I don't owe anyone an apology for what has happened before my birth. As an American I don't owe anyone an apology for being a Christian American. As an American I don't believe others have the right to move to our COUNTRY and tell us NOT to have our CHRISTMAS TREES and our CHRISTMAS Parties because it offends them. As an American I believe others can move here and have their rights as Americans and have the religion they choose without trying to take ours away from us!!!!!

Yeah, I've been watching the News lately. I really need to stay away from it.

Here's a BIG SHOUT OUT TO ALL OUR VETERANS !!!!!!

As an American I don't care about color of skin or what religious background you come from. We all are people and I think we should treat each other as such!!!!

Before the current economic woes hit, I've done my share of traveling around the world. Our country is one of the most diverse ones out there. We certainly have our problems but we are better at accepting differences than many other peoples.

I'm heart sick about what has happend at Ft. Hood. I don't know what to make of it. My father was a career army man, and I remember what it was like when he was away in Viet Nam, not fully understanding, but still worried about him coming back. The faces of all those who lost family and friends from "one of our own". I am always mindful of our service men and women, and I am extremly proud to be an American!

My skins is crawly with the fact that the shooter is about 5 miles from my house, sitting comfortably in a hospital. Ugh.

He's not out of the woods yet, not by a long shot. I'm sure they have lots of gaurds around him to make sure he's not assasinated. It will be interesting to see what his lawyers come up with for a defense stratagy.

KJ, I agree, but on the other hand, I want to see him tried, convicted and shot for Treason! It's looking like he was connected to some pretty nasty men, and my bet is there will be things uncovered to show he was in league with something bad. I'm very upset that no one gave him any more attention when he first came up on the radar ages ago!

I want him shot for treason too but I bet his lawyer is looking for any loop hole to save his sorry ass. It's not like they are trying to find out who did it. People saw him do it.

Yes, I believe in going through the legal system but there are somethings that's hard to swallow so the only thing I can do is pray for all those men and women and their families and yes pray for our enemies. For me that was really hard to say.

I hope the president doesn't send more troops to Afghanistan. The history of that country has always been a very decentralized government. For centuries it has been this way. The current president runs a very corrupt situation. I do not see why anymore of our best and brightest should go there. What makes us think we can change hundreds of years of history?
