Dirty Divorces: Stand By Your Man or Not
by Miss KP
Why do women settle on less than satisfactory relationships? Why do women stay in toxic relationships? Have you ever been cheated on? Or been the cheater? Before you answer, take a look at the next statement. Would you believe cheating is defined as anything that breaches a relationship contract? That includes kissing, a sexual communication that you wouldn’t dare tell your mate about, over the top flirting, bobbing the knob, and of course… sexual intercourse.
We all know that both females and males cheat, but what exactly is it that makes a man cheat? Research shows that most men don’t attach as much significance to monogamous relationships. Some men say the cause is, “Boredom.” Others say, “I need sexual variety.” What about these excuses, “She let herself go, the thrill is gone, I married too young, she changed, we grew apart.” The list goes on, but the big question is, why do some women stay?
Author of the Dirty Divorce, Miss K.P polled 100 women only to find out that most stayed for the top seven reasons; financial stability, the children, comfort zone, I’m cheating too, afraid to be alone, addicted to the love stick, and it’s cheaper to keep him.
What about the average woman who decides not to stay? Will she have a stigma over her head that her relationships fail and just don’t work? Some say it depends on how well you can take care of yourself financially. Which brings us to a good point; women who marry high paid celebrities. Is it as easy for the average woman to split as it is for the wife of a celebrity? So often we hear in the media about high profile marriages ending in divorce due to cheating. But some spouses stay too. Do any of these names ring a bell? Cookie & Magic, Swiss Beatz & Mashonda, DMX & Tashera, Shaq & Shaunie, Michael & Juanita Jordan.
Tashera, DMX’s wife, wins the crown for most loyal wife. It has been said that DMX has fathered children outside of their marriage and cheated numerous times, but she’s still by his side. Each situation is different, but one thing is for sure; some women thug it out…and they stand by their men while others stand by the bank, like Elle, Tiger Woods wife. Did I mention that she left Tiger and took half the bank with her? Now that’s my kind of girl!
Some people live for Dirty Divorces. What’s your thoughts on this?
