  Dubbed or Not Dubbed?

  Which do you prefer and why?
  
  I liked the dubbed Soul Eater, but Death Note was terribly dubbed. The voices were all wrong.

  In Soul Eater, I saw the episode were Maka gets cursed by Arachne in Japanese first. When I saw it in English I couldn't believe the voice actress choice! It was so different!

  I don't watch or read souleater but I always love the original undubbed animes but if you wanna watch dubbed go with funimation they are the best company that does that.

  I prefer the Japanese versions, though some dubs are very good. My fave dubs are: Blood+, Fruits Basket, Beck, Angelic Layer, Black Blood Brothers, the Miyazaki films, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Hetalia, Eden of the East, Mushishi, School Rumble, Haruhi Suzumiya, and xxxHolic.

  Dubs I hated were Naruto and Death Note.

  I agree with Arya, the Japanese versions are really good. Death Note was terrible when it was dubbed. So was Fairy Tail! Fruits Basket is fine when it was dubbed but I like the Japanese version of My Bride is a Mermaid. Naruto is fine either way.

  I really enjoy subtitled versions. Although, I have found some terrific dubs that fit, but the Urusei Yatsura and Infinite Ryvius dub was terrible. I started watching Soul Eater in Japanese, but I've never watched the English dub.

  i will watch some sub depending on whether i start with sub or dub. i can transfer to sub very easily if i start out with dubbed.

  Definitely subbed, dubbed anime always makes me feel really uncomfortable.
  The only animes with dubs worth watching are Ouran High School Host Club, Black Butler, and of course the Miyazaki movies.
