    Buddhist View of Jesus

Can any Buddhist tell me how they view Jesus, do they consider Him an "Enlightened Master?"

Well, he used as many parabels and (dare I say it?) metaphors as Shakyamuni Buddha. The sentiment of compassion is certainly central to the teachings of Jesus and all of Buddhism.
But much from Shakyamuni Buddha, and much from those who followed, seems more explicit on how to develop the mind: I can't think of any simillar attributions to Jesus. So I suppose the big difference is detail, and without the explicit or the detail, I am not sure I would consider him in the same way as Shakyamuni Buddha or Bodidharma. Perhaps if we had more more first-person narratives, rather than just testimonies...? I'm not very good at taking things on Faith (hence the attraction to Buddhism!)
I keep meaning to read The Zen Teachings of Jesus, but such a big pile of books. Do you know it?

I think the "they" in the question is too big for one answer. Buddhists, like any other label for a large group, come in many many different varieties.

I have routinely heard His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and my own lamas, tell people that any religion is fine, and can be very helpful. Also, they often really encourage people to look back into their own religion (if they had one growing up) because the greatest benefit may be back in that place; whatever happened to make one's original religion seem unappealing probably contains a lot of seeds for growth.

Thich Naht Hanh has written a book called "Going Home: Jesus and Buddha as Brothers" . . . it is one of his books that I have not read, but I hear good things.

I consider myself a practicing Buddhist and I absolutely love Jesus; I feel a very real understanding and reverence for him.
