Death Cab for Cutie has lots of those, lots of people know "I will follow you into the dark" but I'll pick their song, "Your Heart is an Empty Room" ...this one gets me every time. So honest, true, sad and beautiful.

Eric Clapton's Tears in Heaven. Very touching song where Clapton sings to his son who had recently died. He is asking if his son would recognize him when they are both in heaven and is looking forward to meeting him again. At the same time however he realizes heaven isn't his place right now and he needs to move on - however hard that may be.
