  Karachi Literature Festival

  New Title

  

  I am looking forward to the 2nd Karachi Literature Festival, to be held on 5th and 6th February. The first one was interesting. This time, Karen Armstrong will be the plenary speaker and I am hoping to hear her.

  I wish I would be in Karachi,,, the literary festival seems very exciting the magazine for which I work also covering this event, but I could attend it due to my exams, though Karen Armstrong is coming to Lahore as well, tomorrow I'll be listening her talk at PC Hotel here, very much looking forward to it. We are also trying to interview her let's see if we get a chance.

  I heard Karen Armstrong twice here. I also heard panel discussions and interviews with authors. I saw excerpts performed from Ajoka Theatre plays and a dance performance by Sheema Kirmani's students. I spent two wonderful days.

  Salaams and hello, the KLF sounds like a great excuse to be in Pakistan in February. It's probably the best month for weather also- it beats Chicago. I'll try to make it.
