    Up and about! Current issues.

Hi guys! Recently, S'pore bagged quite a few golds at the recent Games. 43 to be exact. Sadly, none from badminton, my fave game. And also, Hadi Mirza became the inaugural Asian Idol. I guess that puts S'pore in the spotlight, doncha think? I don't really know what I wanna achieve by opening this new discussion. Just wanted to talk abt some current goings-on in our country. Feel free to give ur $0.02 worth! If u wanna talk abt other things, feel free to do so too. :)

Yeah it has.. but you should have seen the rush on orchard just a few days before Christmas.. the traffic was horrible and the crowd -- just overwhelming!

i dont mind the overflowing of tourist, but i cant stand the number of cars on the road! there's so many of em!
and it so doesn't help when you are late and you need to take a cab. man, the fare is just soo expnsive these days..
      my pockets have holes now.

I agree with you! There are just too many cars and the increase in taxi fares to help regulate the traffic is not really helping either! Its just making things harder. Guess Singapore is just competing to be one of Asia's most expensive countries to live in. Hope the earnings also increase in that proportion ;)
