  'Literati' - The Singapore Book Club!

  Hello to all members of the Singapore Shelfari
  
  After a long drawn discussion on forming an actual book club in Singapore, with the support of Anup, Mansi and others, we are finally scheduling the first meeting of Literati - our very own book club!
  
  As of now, we are 5 of us from this group who are keen: Orion_in, myself, Shobhasri, Bisou and Neon. I know at least another 5 people who are also keen to join.
  
  So here are the details of the first meeting:
  
  Date: 15 November 2009 (Sunday)
  
  Time: 11:30 am
  
  Venue: Starbucks
  @ 491 River Valley Road
  #01-22/23 Valley Point
  Singapore 248371
  
  Agenda: Introduction, setting a meeting schedule and getting started.
  
  
  The venue might not be the ideal but it is quite central and quieter, so looks like a good place we can have our discussions. Being the first meeting, it should last around an hour or so at the max.

    Hi Shobhasri, We were expecting you! we had a good gathering of 7 people and Rashmi had everything organized. It was a nice introduction of all members and we had a good time. The next meeting will be 6th December, maybe at the National Library. Rashmi will communicate about all details soon.

    That's right Anup, the next meeting is on the 6th of December and the topic chosen for this meeting is Suspense/Mystery. I will post another discussion thread for that.

    Bissou, next meeting is on 6th December and rashmi will give details on this thread. We had a good first gathering of 7 people and good discussion on books and authors. Second meeting is to be a discussion on Mystery/Suspense genre books. I'll request rashmi to post the details. Hope to see you next time.
