Started by Carole Whang Schutter, Wednesday, February 13 2008. Last post Tuesday, June 3 2008.

Articles about writing and acting from Hollywood insiders and published authors, many originally published in “The Golden Goblet” Newsletter, voted TOP TEN Finisher in the 2007 Preditors and Editors Readers Poll. First chapter is a lesson on patience that John Klawitter learned while working at Hanna-Barbera Productions. Following are chapters about writing, book promotion, and breaking into the acting profession, as well as a humor column by J. Richard Jacobs. There are also several interviews: 1.) Sue Thurman interviewing Allison Dubois, the real-life medium behind the hit TV show, “Medium” starring Patricia Arquette, 2.) Sue Thurman interviewing ghost hunter Debe Branning, and 3.) Marilyn Peake interviewing Carole Whang Schutter who wrote a screenplay in collaboration with Director/Producer Christopher Cain for the movie “September Dawn” starring actors Jon Voight, Trent Ford, and Tamara Hope.

Well, this is interesting. I just found this site and found a slot I really enjoy - film making. I spent 15 years in Hollywood doing everything. I ended up on Entertainment Tonight as Senior Video Editor for four years. After this I went off to Japan where I was a film director, writer and editor. The Silver Screen is always been something of interest. Living in Hollywood was a daily adventure. You would be sitting in a Denny's on Sunset Blvd and somebody will comment that this was the old location of parting of the Red Sea in Then Ten Commandments. Or being in a Sound Studio and finding out that Charlie Chaplin filmed the Gold Rush where you are standing. Any questions you have please feel free to post them and i will try and answer. I just completed an ebook which might help some of you to find books. http://makecashsellingbookstoday.com My favorite book is Noble House by James Clavell. It has nothing to do with film, but it is a great story of Hong Kong.
