    Book Readings??

While I have been an avid reader, I also love to listen to a good recitation/ reading. I am new to the club & was wondering are there any 'reading' sessions in Delhi/Gurgaon.
I have mostly been a pulp fiction reader but the last couple of years have seen me moving into more serious books
    Thanks

And I just read the discussion on 'Best books' i have every read- I enjoyed the trail of thought & also have resolved to visit DaryaGanj. Personally, I seem to like all reasonably good books( how shallow is that?) - but my favourite has to be 'The Folks of the Faraway Tree' by Enid Blyton. The characters, the plot, the simplicity but the sheer variety was amazing & it still inspires me :)

Oxford bookstore (Connaught Place) and India Habitat Centre seem to be favored by authors to for launching their works.

    There's a handy site

    http://www.delhievents.com/

with a section called "Books, Talks and Poetry" (once there, see list on the left) that lists practically every upcoming event in the city, and around it as well :)
