Hi - I've just joined this group and have added a book I thought was very helpful, Classical Drawing Atelier. This book is for someone who has some basic background in drawing. I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner. I found it to be an easy read with easy to follow concepts and ideas. The last part of the book involves putting the concepts into practices. It also gives a brief background the historical atelier system.
