    J.M Coetzee

J.M Coetzee is a South African Nobel laureate. I'm thinking of reading one of his books. Which is the best? I'm thinking of Disgrace.

    Hi zawan:
"Disgrace" is an excellent choice, in my opinion. Good reading!

Disgrace is a fantastic, but very dark book. I've read the two first parts of his biography as well, Boyhood and Youth. Also good stuff.

I have only read FOE by Coetzee and I could only say avoid reading FOE ,,,, don't know why it seems to me very shallow,,, and that's why I didn't started Disgrace.

I did not find Disgrace too good either.Yes, there are flashes of genius here and there but was not really impressed.
