Naked in the sun is how I felt last week when a couple of readers here (haters) blasted my efforts at promoting my books. Promote or perish! We must promote out own works. Shakespeare was the greatest promoter of his plays. I get real! Anyway, at least in the process, I was directed to this group, which I didn't know about before, so all is well.
I'm the author of "Little X: Growing Up in the Nation of Islam," and "Do Me Twice: My Life After Islam," and author of poems and short stories published in a couple other anthologies.
I'm looking forward to chatting with fellow authors here, and I'm especially interested in sharing effective marketing moves.
