I was wondering...has anyone read anything that has given you that ahh-haa moment?

Has anyone gotten an ahh-haa moment from anything you are reading?

Circle of Life-Mastery, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corp. dedicated to bridging the gap between religion and science. This group is dedicated to encouraging and promoting spiritual/emotional growth. I have been on my spiritual path for over 40 years and have recently attracted "The Ultimate Secrets of Total Self-Confidence" to my consciousness. It resonates for me as the most complete approach to human consciousness raising that I have encountered in all of my readings.

Every Friday night, beginning February 22, we will be studying and applying the lessons from this book. The meetings will take place at:
244 West 54th Street PH 4 (please take elevator to 12th floor and walk up one flight) in New York City from 7 - 10 PM (doors open at 6:30 PM). Anyone who is unable to attend is welcome to email me at hl_newman@yahoo.com and begin their correspondence with me about this wonderful book.

    Joy, Well-Being and Sufficiency,

Yes, I recently finished "Secrets of the Lost Mode of Prayer" It is not about what as much as how. In the book, it is explained that many people pray from the stance of lack and therefore create lack. By praying with all your senses in gratitude for the gift being given, as if it is already received. We create. For example, if you are praying for rain...feel the rain on your skin...smell the wet earth...hear the splash on your house...taste the clean air...be joyful in the moment of receipt and thank "God" for the gift.

I have read a number of books on prayer and I think that each tradition and philosophy has their rituals and guidance. I truly believe that a grateful heart which opens up to the Divine and asks shall receive an answer in some form. What do you all think?
I do suggest the book, The Illuminated Prayer.

      Hi Khabira:
I have not read 'The Illuminated Prayer' book. I agree that prayer in its many forms is a tool to help us get our mind, body, and spirit working together. When I have need I use the 'Illuminata' and that is the book I will write down 'found' prayers that move me. I also use other meditation resources from a wide range of sources usually to help me bring into focus and coalition the request (prayer). I will even use spell books for creative visualization ideas. I think the true purpose of prayer is to bring you to "one self" to manifest the request.

      Hi priyanka c:
Your welcome. I was reminded last night by a friend. That we already know the answers. That quotes, ideas and concepts in books, experiences are there to send us those "aah" moments. Listen to how your body reacts to this ideas. Sometimes I get a chill on the back of my neck like my guide is saying, "That's it, pay attention." Other times it is more of hmmm I wonder. Those times I question if I am correct. And after sharing with friends who may or may not agree, someone just shows up and says "Yea, that is ...." And I am blown away by what spirit is giving me.

I agree with you. I often use prayers from many traditions and visualizations are so useful. The energy is there in the Universe for us to use. We just need to tap into it. I will have to read the Illuminata. I will put it on my wish list. Thanks

Yes! Eckhart Tolle!!! Learning about the "pain body" felt like instant enlightenment!
By that I mean that it solved many mysteries for me in an instant.

      Hi Kitty_Blue:
Can you expand on that? I haven't read Eckhart Tolle yet.

A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. I am one of those who watches the webcasts he does with Oprah on each chapter.

I had read The Power of Now and thought it illuminating, but A New Earth is written so that the ideas are very accessible. I have found myself practicing being Present more and more often because of the power of this book.

Yes, I was astonished that a small book named "Mr.God, My Name is Anna" did so. I certainly did not see the message coming!:-)

It was also a small book that changed my whole perspective at a certain time of my life called "Creative Visualization"by Shakti Gawain. It's a must read for any spiritual wonderer.
Many other books gave me the Ahh-haa moment, with every one of them I felt an expansion in my awareness and for that I'm very grateful.
