So far this month I've read Road to Seduction by Ann Christopher. Although it started a little slower than the first book Tender Secrets, it was really good. I especially loved the ending. I'm currently reading Belle by Beverly Jenkins. It's a YA book, but I'm really enjoying it. Don't know what I'm going to read next. I have like a stack of books to select from. So, I'll pop back in when I know.

So, I have to read "Tender Secrets" before reading "Road to Seduction"...I know I have both of these around her somewhere...guess I'll have to find them...so I'll need to have my Kleenex ready, huh...I love a good tear-jerker...thanks for sharing :-)

Did you cry at the end of Road to Seduction, Victoria? At the end of the book, I was bawling my eyes out. This is the line that got me, when the heroine said, "If I had known I'd only have one little girl, I would have saved her for you..." Or something like that, man I started boohooing. LOL.

The book I just finished was Undead on Arrival by L.A. Banks. It is more paranormal/urban fantasy with romantic elements. I enjoyed it.

How are you liking the new L. A. Banks series.

I really liked the VHL series but I am not feeling the werewolf sex - has me looking at dogs differently - wondering why they are rubbing on my leg and such :)

      **Spoiler**

Yeah, I did get a little misty. I felt so bad for Izzy & Eric. Poor Eric in the greenhouse breaking up stuff. AND I knew something was up when the sister-in-law made Izzy feel her pregnant belly and then apologized afterwards. I also loved the little girl at the very end who kept getting annoyed because Izzy couldn't get her name right! LOL

That little girl was too-too cute. I'm glad she added that part or else I would have ended on a downer.

I'm liking the werewolves/shadow wolves okay. Nothing beats the Vampire Huntress series for me, but this will have to do until she brings the kids and starts up a new VHL... ;-)

I just received Belle and Bring on the Blessings by Beverly Jenkins. I think I'll read Belle first. Friday is Payday which means saturday is bookstore day, so I'll be picking something else up also. I'm in the mood for a goooood murder mystery. I wish there were more black authors who wrote in that genre.

I just finished Belle a few days ago. It was very good. If I didn't have so much going on I would've finished in a day or two. Belle is a definite read if you like historicals and YA books. I'm getting ready to start Everlastin' Love by Gay G. Gunn. I've never read anything by this author, so I'm looking forward to this read.

I just finished Everlastin' Love by Gay Gunn a few days ago. This story was so sad, yet to me it demonstrated the true power of love. The heroine, Jaz was so in love with her husband that she waited TEN years (her husband went MIA during the Vietnam war) before she could move on with her life. I'm not going to say anything more, because I don't want to spoil it if someone hasn't read it. However, if you haven't read this one, it's a really good read.

I'm currently reading Josephine by Beverly Jenkins.

My favorites by Selena is still Secret & Lies...which was the first book I ever read by her...then I found out it was part of a series...so I had to go back and read the other two...Never Tell and Hidden Sins...also ENJOYABLE reads...compared to her other three books I read I thought Reckless had a slower-pace or flow to it...but it's still a worthwhile read...if and when you read it...let me know what you think :-)
