  Medieval Websites

  Thought I would start a new discussion for everyone to post website URL info for interesting sites pertaining to Medieval History. Here is one that I found called the Society of Medieval Military History. Lots of good info on this site. The second website is their "blog", which is really just for book reviews and upcoming events.

  I'm a historian and reenactor.... there's a lot of stuff out there to cover this time period.
  
  1) http://www.the-orb.net/ - Online Reference Book for Medieval Studies The ORB is an academic site, written and maintained by medieval scholars for the benefit of their fellow instructors and serious students. All articles have been judged by at least two peer reviewers.
  
  2) http://moas.atlantia.sca.org/wsnlinks/ - A regional branch of the Society of Creative Anachronism (www.sca.org). The Atlantia Arts & Sciences page contains thousands of links to online articles covering a wide variety of subjects - some related to historical research and some to living history. There is everything from architecture to woodwork.
