That's right, ladies and gents, yours truly has finally cross the NaNo finish line! I just uploaded my manuscript to the word count validator and got the official total. After having tried and failed in two previous years to do this, I was determined to make this year the best one yet and it appears tha I have succeeded. I even posted a new excerpt which is the beginning of my novel. I was so ecstatic to see the purple winner's bar on my profile, I nearly did a cartwheel here in my office, but I didn't feel much like having to go to the hospital today. I am, after all, an author, not a gymnast! I never thought I would make it, but I did. Now all I have to do is turn this gibberish I've written into some coherent version of a novel and, when that happens, I'm going to be all about NaNoPubMo (if there is any such thing).
