  Future of our Group Reads

  Interest in the group reads has waned in the last few months and a suggestion has been made that we have quarterly group reads rather than monthly ones. This would allow members to catch up on past group reads and fit news ones into their upcoming reading plans.

  I really don't have a preference but since my reading tends to fluctuate a lot I'm finding I'm not participating as much in this group. I hate to nominate and vote for something that I, realistically, won't actually get to. I think reading a Book of the Quarter might be nice. I won't feel as if I'm letting someone down by not participating every month. Would we focus mostly on stand-alone books and have series stuff as buddy reads then?

  I like this idea. I find it very difficult to read a Nora book every month (because I can only manage reading about 4-6 books a month anyway) but I try and pop in when I can. I might be better able to commit if it were a quarterly group read. If members would prefer to continue with a monthly read I'll just continue to join in when I can.

  I'll go with quarterly reads. The Inn Boonesboro only has 3 of us talking about it. I think it will be easier to catch up since a lot of us are part of other groups, also.

  Since Whiskey Beach will be published in April. How about starting our quarterly group reads with that book?
  
  Member who are interested in doing buddy reads of other books can open threads here or if they prefer in the Buddy Reads group.

    I will probably have to re-read as when it popped up on my Kindle, a) I was surprised and b) I gobbled it up. Now that I have gone back to J.D. Robb, I will need to refresh my memory.
