Military SciFi

A group for the military scifi fans out there... To me, they are kind of like a scifi version of a romance novel... Are they deep philosophical stories? Not usually... Are the fun to read? Yes!

    Baen Free Library

I was looking around the other day and came across the Baen Free Library. The site has over 100 books you can read for free. Stuff from Drake, Weber, Flint, Niven, etc. It's www.baen.com/library Enjoy!

Want to download the Baen free books in a convenient ISO format? See http://baencd.thefifthimperium.com/

The ISOs represent the cd content that is included with many of the Baen hardback books and include a wide variety of content and sometimes a theme (ie I know one of them is devoted to Honor Harrington).

I like Baen because of their great content and they offer .prc format, which works perfectly with the Kindle.

Baen Free Library is pure genius. I've read numerous titles on there, and gone on to read other books by those same authors.

I also like the Baen free CD's that come in the hard bound copies of their books. The last one I picked up was "over 1 million words by David weber".
